On Monday, the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 house underwent a massive twist as six wild card contestants entered the already-running season. The uniqueness of each contestant in terms of backgrounds, personal controversies, and unique powers raised the stakes for existing housemates and the entire gaming scenario became unpredictable.
Ramya Moksha who came into the limelight for the “Alekhya Chitti Pickles” controversy, made her return with a secret task. Despite getting trolled online for her sister's incident, and the personal loss of her father, Ramya's strength was recognized by many. She goes into the Bigg Boss house with the power of a luxury budget, and a secret assignment indicating her intention to make a bold statement this season.
Srinivasa Sai, a former child actor in films like Golkonda High School, Kedi, and Oopiri, was the one to enter the house with a tranquillity and a person that could be sympathized with. He was granted a special immunity power for his early film career, which may serve him well in making a strategic move around the game and also in avoiding being voted out during the early rounds of elimination.
Divvela Madhuri’s entry was a hot topic right from the beginning mainly because of her past romance with Duvvada Srinivasa Rao and the controversies that were associated with it. During a virtual interaction Madhuri was given a Golden Buzzer Power by Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep—this means she could cancel an elimination. Co-contestant Srija’s assertion of being a stranger to Madhuri ignited the tensions which led to a verbal spat happening right after her entry.
The Kerala-born actor Nikhil Nair, who has featured in different serials of Maa TV, has come to the house with a little help from the game.
